Clear Headlight Covers?

Anyone make them today? I used to own a pair, but that was many moons ago. I've seen smoke and carbon fiber but not clear. Anyone?

check Summit or Jegs, I know I have seen them somewhere. My brother has them on his 95 Z28 so I know they make them for the third gens.

Hope that helps

C'mon Willie! I know you've got the talent to cut a rectangle out of a piece of plexi and throw some double-back tape on some 90* angle brackets!

Thanks for the responses. I called Summit before I posted and talked to some idiot sales guy. He could not find clear covers!

Jim, what's a "rectangle"? And how do you measure 90*? Can you make them for me? I are a colluge graduate with a math degree but darned if I remember any of this stuff!

You're kidding, right?

If not, then a rectangle is the shape of your headlight bucket opening, and the 90* brackets are just "L" shaped brackets that attach to the inside of the headlight bucket, and in turn hold the plastic into place.

Uh huh. Now, would you like me to use the Fourier Convolution Theorem to evaluate an inverse Fourier Transform? Or show the special case of the Schwarz-Christoffel transformation that maps the x-axis onto a square with given vertices?

Hey Jarrad,

I tried to find "prolly" in my Webster's dictionary and couldn't find it. Is it in your "Iowa" dialect dictionary? Then again, I prolly didn't know how to spell it correctly...

Did you get that Magnaflow installed yet?

Willie

I figured he was kidding. I was really, really hoping he was kidding. I just didn't want to put my foot in my mouth incase he wasn't! It wouldn't be the first time I under-estimated somebody's stupidity.

Willie, if you ever mention an inverse Fourier Transform again I'll fly to AZ and let the air out of your tires! I'm going to have flashbacks to my "Concepts in Systems and Signals" class now. Bahhh! Make it stop! S Domain. Y domain. Arggghhhh! It won't go away! L'aplace who?

You know what's really sad? I was looking at the operation of 1 bit D/A converters today, and those are one big fourier transform. Guess I'll never get away from this crap!!!!!!!!

GTO makes them. I actually had a pair of the clear headlite covers, but one broke, so I just took them both off.

You should be able to order them from an auto parts store. That's what i did.
