yea to both.
I like them both, although #1 is much more original and I would go with those personally.
Remember, getting 16X9s on the back, severly limits you burnout ability
. They look great, and the traction gains are great also. I like 16X8s with the same offset all around so you can rotate your tires and not have it cost you extra. My $.02

ok guys, i wasnt saying that a lot of firebirds have TT II's i was saying that a lot of custom cars and show cars have them, just look through HOT ROD, super chevy, etc. and you will see them.
and i dont compare them to cragars because i wasnt driving when cragars were really popular, let alone i wasnt even alive.
and look up MIKE HARVEY, he has those wheels in a similar if not same pattern.

If it were my money... i would definetly go with #2 (Torq-Thrust Style). I never really like the fancy schmancy style wheels like #1 from Centerline, Weld, and the like. As for the every one has them (Torq-Thrust II) comment, I live in southern Cali and I rarely see those wheels on a third gen. It's problaby the location but who knows. I just bought a set of 16" IROC wheels ...now everyone HAS THOSE!! But they just look so good.

I like the 1st set because they will look sweet on your ride,if someone can show you how they would look then i think you would choose the first ones, the TTs wont look as great,i would also go with 17s,i have 16s and am dying for 17s,but thats my taste and i like to think my taste isn't too bad at all,but its your ride,go with your taste,it truly only matters what you like,FTW!!!

I agree that at car shows and stuff alot customs have TT II's but I have yet to see a thirdgen with them on the street...
But this isn't really about TT II's, I like the second ones better, but think the rirst ones would look good as well.
If I were getting rims I'd get 17's

Torque thrusts are extremely common in the classic car world. Personally, those Centerlines are too busy for my taste but your likes are the only thing that matters. Also keep in mind that polished aluminum is maintenance intense.
Whatever you do I'm sure you'll make the best choice.

I like the second ones. Do they cost less than TT2's? If they do, I might get my own. But I would say do what you think looks good cause its your car. As for size, I'd go with 17".

I've never really liked busy wheels, I've been a fan of nice 5-spokes. But I started wondering what #1 would look like, so this is what I came up with:
And I changed my mind. I think they look pretty good on your car. Those are probably about 16's.
