They are the T/A rims that come with the WS6 package.. i think. They are the 16X8 top of the line ones, rather than the stock 15 concave version. They are basically the opposite of the formula rims.

I am not sure if those were factory on T/A's but I have seen them on early T/A's like 84s. Those were used on old grand am's and grand prix's and various other pontiac junk. Im pretty sure they're not top of the line, though, i don't even think they're aluminium. They look like 14's or 15's to me and they're pretty skinny. In my opinion they're freaking ugly, too.

Yes, those rims were optional on the T/As. They made their first appearance on the '84 15th Anniversary T/A (in white), and were the standard 16" WS6 wheels in 1985 and 1986 available in both silver and gold.

I believe they were used a short while in 1987 as well, before the PW7 diamond-spoke and the deep-dish High Tech Turbo rims became the "staples" for the T/A.

Yeah those rims look like the ones on some FWD pontiacs from late 80's early 90's, mainly sunbirds and grand ams. I think grand prixs had their own rims. And yeah, they aint top of the line. I had a 87 grand am se with much nicer rims, they were the same color red as the car. I think most GP rims also matched the car color, just a different design than the GA se rims I had. And yep, they are 14". But some of em had 215's on em. Go figure.

The rims in that pic are 16x8's and you could get them on trans am's and formula's.

The rims pictured look like they are the FWD versions , But the For the firebird the 16"X 8" wheels , They first appeared in 84 in the 15th Annv. car , and where standard on WS6 optioned cars in 85-mid 87 and where standard on the 87 Formula , They are alluminum , and they where top off the line , I have 6 off them in my garage right now , I actually perefer them on 82-84 cars , makes them look even meaner.and if those are the 16" wheels they are rear wheels.
