Re: Armorall whipes
I have seen posts here pro and against the product. I can only speak from my experence with it and i have no complaints. I have used the spray for years & never ever had a problem. Of course i keep applying it on a regular basis. If i stopped maybe i would run into a problem. But i find that it works as advertised.

Re: Armorall whipes
I used the cleaning wipes for the first time about a month ago, they left some residue but cleaned well. I had to wipe off the residue with a cloth towel.

I've used them in the past and everything I've used them on is still in one piece.

Re: Armorall whipes
I use them on just about every plastic part in my interior, on about a weekly basis (the wipes). Makes it look better than new, with a nice glossy shine. The only complaint that I have is that the "gloss" tends to hold dust and dirt really well, especially if youre driving in the summer with the tops off.

Re: Armorall whipes
Taken from another forum:
I stay away from the stuff...it possibly causes more trouble than it's worth...and I hate how dust and everything sticks to it.
Also, it's a pain in the butt (bit of an understatement) to get that stuff off of the plastics if you ever go to paint 'em or anything like that.
In the 1970's when it was first introduced, without constant re-application it caused the padded dashes to crack/deteriorate when exposed to UV rays. Eventually, the problem became so bad if you could show receipts and document the prior condition of the vehicle, the company paid up to $500 for repairs/replacement. The formula has since been changed but I will not use it. I presently use Pro Prime Shine. It is available in a laytex & oil based formula, and available though any commercial auto detail supplier.

Re: Armorall whipes
I don't know how you guys can stand armor all. It is way to shiny and leaves a strange residue and is strange to the touch. Maybe the whips don't leave as much since I never used them. I would go with miguiars viynal and rubber 40. Some of the best stuff I found so far and for only $10 a bottle it is worth it. It leaves a way more natural shine.
