Wanted everyones opinion. I recently bought a set of Black Cragar 397's for my Jeep, and they look awesome. I was thinking how the rims would look on my Firebird, since I'm going to want to get new rims pretty soon. I've been thinking about going steelies with a dog dish center cap, but those kinda rims aren't cheap for what they are.

Anyways, I photoshoped the cragar rim onto the front of my Firebird, and wanted to know what everybody thought. I will be removing the gold pinstripe on my car.

 

leave the originals on till you have a different rim.

 

Isn't your nose really hard to find? Also, isn't it the same as a formula? Rims, dont look too bad. A kid At school has them on an 98 Chevy 1500 lowered and they look good.

 

I'm not sure if my nose is really hard to find, I haven't had to find one (knock on wood) , and yes, its the same nose as the formula.

Jproz, these would be the new rims, just getting the opinion of those people who post.

There is also this one, which is the same style, but chrome.

 

search ebay, you will find MUCH cheaper and better looking rims.

I have gunmetal ZR1s with a polished lip, that are 9.5 and 11" wide. I got them for 500 shipped to my front door.

 

no those rims dont work...Dont do black on a green car either. Go polished or chrome but that black really looks awful with green. Get a set of the GTA crosslace with the lip and paint them if youd like.

 

I like those rims and have acually debated putting them on my IROC even though everbody I know hates them heres a photoshop

 

cooltc2004, have you considered painting the gold centre section of your wheels black instead?

 

Totally my opinion, but i think those rims are waaay more suited for a truck or 4x4 than a fast car. Too clunky looking for my taste.

 

I personally think that they look great.

Looks like Police car rims.....stick with the gold.

 

i like the gold a little more. maybe keep looking around?

People spend soo much $ on wheels when they are out there for next to nothing. I know a guy who got a set of scratched up crappy 15" wheels for $100 more than I got mine! Its nuts. And his were expensive cuz he get them from a cataloge.

 

yep i'll agree with everyone else...they look more like truck rims more than anything

 

they look like the stock winter steel wheels people swap over here in the winter that all the tire shops sell as cheap winter rims.
