Muscle Car Image
im am going for the look of like 69 camaro, but modern day look, u know young guy clean cut, picks up the ladies, has the hot car u know just like the movies. Would an iroc with the 5.7 give me this image? would the car need to be stock or modified etc. Yeah you guys think im ridiculous lol.
well this was from years back this is what i was looking for now lets just say i have musclecar image now in my 2006 gto, the ls2 has alot more muscle than my 305 ever had and the burnouts yeah it will smoke em till i let off when i turn the t/c off. but anyways right now i have headers/tune/cai what else do you think i should do to get more musclecar image.

Probably for the best clean look, you should consider a ls1/t56 swap. Money permitting, a heads and cam swap, and have a real beast, thats reliable and good on gas

Re: Muscle Car Image
i'm not sure I understand the original post. Do you just want to change your own image to be fitting of the hot rod/musclecar era? If that's the case, it wouldn't be too hard. You'd probably look like Jimmy Shine and there's only a certain type of girls that are attracted to guys like us (unfortunatly.) Anyways, it sounds to me like you've already gotten the "muscle" part with the GTO. Are you still doing the camaro then? There's plently of girls that are into camaros in my area, mostly 4th gens but you can make a third gen appealing to them too (Bright red, ttops, you know the stereotypical "hot" car) Sorry I couldn't be more help... and 87GTA I wish i lived in your area the only late 60's cars I see are converterd six cylinder models or repo bodies on one off chassis.

Re: Muscle Car Image
I am going to encourage you to develop your personality and self confidence before blowing money on your car in the futal attempt to get some tail. It doesn't work. Anyone who claims otherwise is either lying through their teeth or completely manipulating the story or the women who are throwing themselves at their cars aren't the kind of females you want to be associating yourself with anyway. Do you understand what I am saying?
Be true to yourself. Do what honestly makes you happy... and that doesn't mean conforming to an image to get girls. Women will come and go, but it is the honest integrity that you hold for yourself which will stay with you forever. Take some chances and ask some girls out; they may say yes or they may say no. Either way, you tried. Oh! And always be as nice and respectful as you can. Yes, most girls like *******s... but you don't marry most girls.
Good luck!

Re: Muscle Car Image
Wow, picking up a girl because of what you drive. I guess if she jumps in your car and you have to pay for it that doesnt count. How does that work. Your in a club you walk up to a girl and say "i drive a 1985 camaro". She leaves her friends, jumps in your car and you do her, in the parking lot. Wow, all that money I wasted on movies and dinners and I could have just brought a 85 camaro. Thanks for the tips guys.

Yeah. This is probably one of the stupidest posts I've ever seen, but if you really want the muscle car look, grow a mu11et.
Sorry bud, but our 80s Camaros are never going to be "muscle cars" like a 69 Z/28.

Re: Muscle Car Image
You guys got to be kidding me. There are plenty of examples of cars done "the right way" on here. I could make a customized thirdgen camaro look good like a mint 1st gen(stock one for sure), especially on the interior with the abililty to swap in a 4th gen dash. The thirdgen has way more potential or more options of how to customize it than any other muscle car out there.

Re: Muscle Car Image
NOT A MUSCLE CAR. Barely a "modern" sports car. I should know, I own one. I completely gutted mine and there isn't an original drivetrain/suspension, or brake part left on it. It's a fun car, but it will never get respect from anyone but late model camaro enthusiasts.

Re: Muscle Car Image
these cars i say have some muscle to em. nice muscle type rims and tires. nice exhaust. and a good strong motor with a loopy idle
lower it as well. make it look mean. i wouldnt call them true american muscle like a charger and whatnot.
but i say stick a blower on there will give you some head turning action. some thumbs up. i got that driving to the muffler shop with my stock camaro driving with open exhaust. it was plenty loud.

Re: Muscle Car Image
When I was younger, I thought I'd use my car to attract women, but to be honest with you I believe many women couldn't care less what kind of car you drive (as long as it isn't a jalopy).
If there's some words of wisdom I could give you I'd say have fun with your car, but instead of putting soo much time, effort, and money into it you'd be better off directing that energy into bettering yourself by getting a good education, a good job / career, and a good attitude. That my friend, as corney as it may sound, will get you more (and may I say better quality) women than ANY stupid car could (imo)

Re: Muscle Car Image
Ok, not to sound like oprah, but at 40 I cant get a women to look my way in my third, no matter how nice. Of course they are gagging on my fumes and there eyes are watering. Combine that with the defening sound. When I am in my 02, noone over 40 will look over.
Re: Muscle Car Image
girls aren't attracted to a car. they are attracted to the amount of money paid for it. although i like to consider my car an orgasm on wheels. mostly because im having a horrible vibration at around 2k. but i still tell the ladys it is. also if you want to have the hot rodder look, make sure your car doesn't smoke on startup, as this gets EXTREMELY embarrassing with rich girls. Either that or pretend like its some james bond smoke screen devise you had put in to run from the cops and you left the switch on.
