'92 Z with Corvette C5 Wheels - PICS !!!

Comments? Questions?

Can anyone with wheels spacers tell me if their car eats bearings because of them? Just curious...

They are 17x9 in front wiht 245/45/17s and 18x10 in the rear with 275/40/18s. The 2.5" spacers all around cost me almost as much as the wheels!!!

Mike,
I have those exact wheels on my car. I have had no ill effects on the bearings. Side note, you should change the rear tires to 275/35/18's. You will gain a whole lot of wheel well clearance. My 40's were getting really cut up by the fender lip. Also, the 275/35/18 is an exact "plus size" from the tires originally came on the car. Looks good btw!

OWWWW MAN! That is a bad *** car. If anyone calls that spoiler Rice, i will find you and burn your house down. That is one sweet car. I just put spacers for some 5 spoke racing wheels on my Black IROC, ttops. My goal is to have your 91 92 ground effects, spoiler, and sweet wheels, with the BIG block hood, then ill work on the 383 Stroker Super Ram...... Hey what size spacers did you use. I put 1.25" in the front, and 2.5" in the back, and yes the back ones stick out like a hillbilly car, im going to get a machine shop to shave em down. NICE CAR!!!

They are Goodyear Eagle F1s. Drove on them last night for the first time and they feel great and HOOK UP! Just a wee-bit too big, they rub on heavy bumps... I might have to try the 35 profile that was mentioned above. If anyone needs a brand new set of 275/45/18, let me know!!!

Wow I didn't know they fit so well with only a 2.5" spacer. I have 3" spacers on my rears and they line right up with the fender and dont stick out.

Good looking car!

Lets see if this pic works

dude, your car is sweet! i plan to do the same thing to my 91Z, except with the 2000 vette rims. 2.5 spacers all around you said? fits like a glove.

The spacers a 2.5" all around. Tires fit great and don't rub up front. The car handles like a Vette now. The spacers are expensive! I paid $350 for the spacers, but my machinist said they still would have cost me about $200 in material and a ton of set up time, so I suppose it isn't too bad.

I'd like to make a small correction. A few hard bumps on a full tank of gas gave me some minor tire rub, so I'm waiting for a set of MOOG springs for the back. They are the stock ride height but a lot stiffer. I let you know what happens...

And YES, that is a T-Ram!
