1988 gta trans am for 3500-4000k???? worth it?
this guy at work offered to sell me his 88 gta ,its marron with tan interior it has 4 wheel disc brakes posi rear lookz badazz in side an out almost mint an has 106k miles an it has a 350tpi he askin 4000 for it but i might b able to talk him down to 3500 if he goes should i buy?

one thing i forgot to mention i went on the testdrive by myself so i did get on it alittle,but ne ways there is a little clunk when you really slam the gas down,any ideas as to wut it is? i kno its coming from the right rear by the wheel but cant psyhically see anything wrong,tranny shifts nice and firm an the engine runs like a gem,im gonna get a personal loan from my bank so i can put the car in mmine an my dads name{cheaper insurance}lol,anyways id love to hear some feedback yay or nay,my mom thinks its a huge waste of money{she dont understand wutta gta is} i asked her do you even kno wutta gta is.......she said aint it a mustang gt or something? i bout died yall.so i got online an showed her a picture of one,she said omg thats one nice car......lol go figure,damn how did i get so off subject lol.thanx guyz for your responses

If it's really a GTA and if it's as clean as you say, that is a real good price. Might want to look into that clunk though. Otherwise, go for it!!!

go for it, the clunking noise is most likely the trans. mount. I had that same noise, just like you said coming from the right rear. Found out it was the trans. mount cost about 50 bucks I think to fix! Buy it and keep it!

thanx guys for all your feedback,now wether or not i buy it is in the hands of the bank,i put in a loan app today,ill know tomm,ill keep yuh posted an ill post some pics if i do end up getting it.i really want the car lol
