So confused about Wheels

I have read every post about the type of wheels we can put on our cars but still dont understand. I have a 91 Z with the 16 inch rims. I know that the front and rear have different offsets. Are there backspacing still the same? If not could you tell me what the offset is and do i have to stay with the same? Also if the backspacing is different on the front to rears what is it on that year. Sorry for posting another wheel post but i just dont get it! Thanks for the help.

I also have a 91Z. If the offsets are different, then the backspacing is also. If you go to the Tech Articles, look up Suspension/Wheels (I think), it will tell you what you need to know. I really can't explain better than the article.

Go to skulte.com and read the whole section about his adapters, etc. If I were you, I would go with the (heres exactly what it is, trust me i just put new camaro(actually corvette) wheels on my car and i needed these adapters)
Front (1.25")
Rear (2.25")
I wanted my wheels to stick out a little bit in the back so I was dumb and order 2.5". Dont do that either, they stick out WAY to far. Also if you can get a good deal on a fourth gen Z28 or trans am rear go for it.... No need for spacers, you get posi, and you get disc brakes.
