Re: fiberglass hood
Hahahahahahahahaha!
I have never seen a popout-less Firebird hood on these boards or anywhere online. You will probably have to contract a fiberglass guy to do a one-off for you. You'll probably put his kids through college
Let's see some pics if you get this conversion off the ground!

Re: fiberglass hood
I think you need to lay off sarcasm. Keep the holier-than-thou attitude, just internalize it. Your question is not about whether or not to do a headlight conversion, it's about where to find a hood.
Yes, the headlight conversion has been done, no you can't find a fiberglass hood without cutouts. Everyone else has fabbed up clear covers, or made their own hood. Have you done a search?
Like I said, find yourself a fiberglass guy.

Re: fiberglass hood
haha take it easy there brandotron.. you have never seen a popout-less Firebird hood on these boards?...there is in fact one on this very website(!!!) it is a black(flat black actually) trans am with this conversion..If i can find it i'll put a link or if anybody else can find that pic put it up please.
Re: fiberglass hood
VFN does
They even sell extended hoods
Since it is fiberglass it would be no problem to make a small rectangle and bond it to a normal glass hood

Re: fiberglass hood
Its not such a crazy idea, think about drag cars, or other race cars who don't even need headlights.
