hey is there a specific black touch up paint for my t-tops cuz they need to b repainted

I used Testors model paint, $1 a bottle, and a free fixup. Resists rust. Sand and paint, then repeat until you feel it's good enough. Then sand the paint so it feels smooth.

what part of the t-top are you talking about? inside or the trim on the outside?

 

im talking about the t-top paint on the outside....not on the glass but that little strip of metal....and thanks 92GTA for tellin me bout the website thing

I use SEM I bought it here in Flint MI, It is about $7.00 for the spray can but it works better than cheeper spray paints. It does not come out all watery looking, (More paint, less thinner) it dried in about a half hour to the touch, and I put them back on my car.

SEM makes spray can paint? I've happily used SEM products for years, but have never seen that, and I was just at my paint supplier Tuesday too. Have to get out my whip and get them on the ball

 

oh yeah, SEM makes great spray products. For this application they make something called trim paint which is that semi-flat finish black that's used on all your stock metal trim pieces.

I just got a can Friday, it’s SEM # 39143, ORIGINAL TRIM BLACK, works great!
