This is what i did on my 86...they are now in perfect alignment and do not move. First off, park about 6 or 7 feet away from a garage door, or the back of a rounded out car(like a C5 vette). Figure out which side needs adjustment, by turning on the foglamps, and how far up or down you want them. Now look at your foglamps after turning them off. You will need a phillips screwdriver. Both foglamps are in a bracket that is adjustable with a screw that is directly above each lamp in the middle...you might need to push part of the bumper out of the way to get to it thats by the foglight. But the screw is right over the foglamp, and its hard to get to and see. Depending on which way you turn it, it will either adjust the foglamp to shine higher, or lower. Mine are adjusted to bring out the full effect of power of my foglamps...they are adjusted high...so high, that i light up those interstate signs that are above the roadways on highways. Maybe it annoys drivers, but so do 18 wheelers that ride my @$$...when i hit the brakes suddenly, they fall back about half a mile
good luck.
