i was thinking for a while of going to pull-a-part and getting the ram air of a grand am and the welding it to a plan camaro hood. thinking to cut cost, nobody has it that i know of, and i just enjoy doing all the work myself. every car i have is always unique with some custom work i've done to be different. just look at my pic to the left.

Good luck finding a ram air grand am hood. I work at a salvage yard and it took 2 years of waiting for me to get one in anything resembling usable condition.
Edit: You wont be welding it either, its fiberglass.

Here's something I've been doing to mine. I'm a DIYer too... If you go for the fiberglass, I suggest you get a good sander, you'd be there forever without one...
