I don't know... are you qualified to be doing that sort of thing? I hope you kept track of all the rags you used. Also looks like something is missing... something that would make the car a bit faster. Maybe it's just me.
paint looks good though lol

Re: Pix after a good 3 stage wax.
thanks all. 3-1/2 hours right now for the first two stages. That was me using elbow grease to put wax on and an orbital to take the wax off. I used maguires cleaner wax (stage 1), mothers california gold sealer & glaze (stage 2) and will use california gold carnuba wax (3rd stage).
Jay, lol....I used BRIGHT orange and BRIGHT blue shammy clothes. Not like the dark grease covered rags I used to cover things up in the bay. Right now the engine only has 1 1.5 ft aluminum elbow and a K&N filter on it so there hopefully weren't any suprises hiding.

Look great! My only criticism would be the gap between the hood and the bumper cover and personally I think cowl hoods look better on third gens, but thats a personal preferece thing. Overall though great looking car, wish maro had paint that nice! Any shots of whats lurking under the hood???

Celtics, yeah only 2nd stage so far. I'll run a california duster or whatever they call it over it Monday night after work and get to work on a couple carnuba coats. The father of one of my sons friends gave me this tire shine/polish from ZEP. I'll SWEAR by that stuff. You spray on, let dry and don't wipe off. Its beautiful stuff.
89RsPower! ahaha...you noticed. My hood actually wasn't closed all the way. 1st pic it isn't 3rd pic it is. If you can see I didn't have my pin latches in the first pic. There is zero gap. This hood (ASCD) fits as well as my stock one did. I'm very happy with it. I didn't post underhood shots yet because I just took my blower out a couple days ago. The tubing/piping and mount bracket are all still there but theres a gapin hole where my blower was sitting. SO, I won't post pics of that until I remount and then polish the black underside of my hood so it reflects the engine.

Well I lied. Here's a pic from back in February I think when I was putting things in. Underhood is ALOT cleaner now than in the pic.

Nice! The color looks so much better than in your sig!
Hows the orbital buffer work for you? What kinda bonnet?
I just hand polished mine today, came out OK. I tried that "liquid glass" that is like $22 a bottle. Its a chemical polish, not a wax. For whatever reason I cant seem to keep a wax on the car more than 2 washes. The polish went on alot easier, and did a better job. But I guess that my paint is like 20 years old, so I cant expect results like yours.
I hopefully will be able to afford a nice DeWalt or Makita high-RPM buffer this summer. Something professional with the 10 speed selection, then the variable RPM trigger too. I love using those, makes faded paint look new with some 1500grit wet/dry and some 3M compound.

Re: Pix after a good 3 stage wax.
the more I see black engine bays in third gens the more I like em. Draws attention directly to the engine and nothing else.. you just convinced me to paint the bay before putting the new engine in.. guess I'll go start cleaning it and prepping it for paint now

RVA, They're ROH RT in Black Ice finish. Good luck finding a set though now. ROH has discontinued shipping / distribution to the US and possibly Canada.
My next set is either going to be a set of C6 19" rear / 18" front or a set of 18" TSW's.

RVA, Possibly. I might keep them for track wheels / tires. I'm up in the air. I wont' swap wheels until the winter though.
