Does anybody have a Camaro with Victory Red paint? It would be the Victory Red thats offered on newer GM models.

My dad had an 02 chevy pickup with the victory red paint and my camaro next to it with the stock bright red paint you couldnt hardly tell the difference. I accidentally grabbed his touch up paint once and it was just a little bit darker and i mean if you were standing back you couldnt tell. Especially if it was dim outside (like a cloud over the sun) you couldnt tell at all.

Just google images search red camaro or bright red camaro nd thattl be basically the exact same thing.

 

I beg to differ. ....I plan on painting mine Victory Red, and I notice quite a difference between that and Bright Red especially under the sunlight. I am curious though if anyone has done this.

 

Me too.

My friend has a Vicotory Red truck, and we always thought they were all but identical. One evening it was right next to my Bright Red Iroc and and they were painfully different.

I would mention though, any type of red is subject to variances. I work in print, not paint, but red is far and away the HARDEST color to match. I'd imagine paint is the same, not counting custom metallics etc. etc.

wow that looks awesome that does look darker than mine by a good little bit now that i see it on the car. However colorblindness runs rampid in my family so ill use that as my excuse. nice car man

 

My first impression . . . looks awesome!!!!!
My second impression . . . it's a darker red than Bright Red.
