The good, the bad, and the UGLY! TONS of third gen body kit/ custom pics!!!
I stumbled across this in an old post on tilt hoods. Everything from hilariously bad ******* customs to wild GM showcars. Definitely worth a look even if you're not interested in modifying your car.

some cool looking mods on some of those cars
Re: The good, the bad, and the UGLY! TONS of third gen body kit/ custom pics!!!
I like looking at those concepts and highly modified cars. Not so much because I want my car to look like that, because I don't, but those cars definitely give me some inspiration and ideas that I can use for my own project.

Re: The good, the bad, and the UGLY! TONS of third gen body kit/ custom pics!!!
OK. So I see this post and think "sweet, I want to make a custom nose, maybe I can find a good one to draw some inspiration for shape". Now, I think I should just leave the stock one on in fear that my car will look like anything on page 9. I'm also affraid to sleep, because nightmares are bound to come.
I beg of you, please..... If you suck at life, don't touch cool cars. Spend your time on dime a dozen little commuters and put 5 ft. spoilers on, paint them hot pink, do whatever you must. But, for the love of humanity, don't touch a thirdgen.
Thanks Phishman. I really needed this reality check. Ugh, i'm so glad most of that stuff went out of style.

IROC 2NV actually used to be a member here... I guess the 08' joining members wouldn't remember though. Shannon has some nice cars and some just crazy stuff in there. I remember most all of those pictures from this very board over the years, very cool to see them achived somewhere.

I would love to see the inside of that limo, lol.
I love how he actually used two Camaros, rather than cutting one in half.

HAHA @ the limo. First time is saw that one! And yes the inside of the limo would be probably a merge or some other cars.
The Iroc-z concept from the back looks somewhat like a nsx? anyone agree?

Ive seen that thing before. All i really gotta say is at least its clean!
Re: The good, the bad, and the UGLY! TONS of third gen body kit/ custom pics!!!
Haha yeah I gotta agree, its pretty clean compared to some of the crap on the cardomain link but it doesn't really flow with the rest of the car... Saw it on eBay a while back and couldn't help but save it for something like this lol

Re: The good, the bad, and the UGLY! TONS of third gen body kit/ custom pics!!!
why do these people have to pick camaros to ruin?!! Unbelievable
Re: The good, the bad, and the UGLY! TONS of third gen body kit/ custom pics!!!
That collection really shows how creative and experimental third gen builds have been over the years. Some designs are extreme, but they highlight how trends and preferences evolve. I once spoke with an enthusiast from Luxury Rides LLC who said unique body kits often reflect personal style more than performance goals or factory originality.
