This is my 92 Formy 350 I picked up a few weeks ago from TGO member Bull. It's awesome!! Stock except for the 4th gen. console and the stereo. I can't wait until the spring to drive it

Opps, sorry, forgot about this post.
The "grill" is stock, thats the way the Formulas came.
As far as the paint on my car, I touched up the paint on the nose with GM factory touchup spray paint and then just washed, polished and waxed the heck out of the car to get it looking like that. Oh, and I ripped out that locked up boat anchor 305 and stuck in a low mileage L98.
Charlie, I like those Formula logos on your car. Nice job.

Technically, 90's are different from 91-92's. But, here's my 91:

Here's some of the progression of it. The top left pic is the day I brought it home.

It was one of the weirdest moments of my life. Standing there in the early morning hours, sun peeking slow over the horizon. Turn my back to my car and then hear it rumble to life and take off. Shat. It weirds me out to this day.

wow..what a buzzkill seeing that vert. can't wait to see the finished product. i'm sure your motivated to create something even better. good luck.
i have finally got this car running after 5+ years of work. this project started with a dream of a firebird with big tires to a comletely made over pro street car. the wiring has taken me forever (my weak link). several years ago i started ripping out wires (every wire in the car) and it is just about redone. also done is the engine, trans, suspension, steering, cooling system, brake system, driveline, paint, and fuel system. now i have to start reassembling the front bumper and lights on the outside as well as put the complete interior back in it. i also ran front to rear true duals. i love the fact that at 6 " from ground to lower rocker, if you look under the car the exhaust is not visible. the only problem is the mufflers i used for space reasons (bullets) are a little on the loud side (way loud!)
wish me luck...i can see the light at the end of the tunnel.

LOL. Yea I should have isolated the car a little better in the pic, oh well.
Right, the Welds look great, but I don't think I'll ever buy another set of aluminum rims again. At least 2 of them are warped, saw it big time at the last emissons test while the back wheels were on the rollers.

The 3.8 is from his TTA that he also owns. Check out his info below his user name and you will see his two cars listed!

Re: 90-92 firebird picturees....post em
I managed to get a NIB set of AFR 205's milled to 60cc and upgraded dual springs and hand ported by Tony Mamo at AFR. I also scored an NIB FAST90 intake ported again by Tony Mamo at AFR and Wilson 90mm throttle body. Along with that came the FAST fuel rails, FAST 42lb injectors, an 85mm MAF and at this point a cam but not sure what cam yet. I currently have a 228/228 .571/.571 112+2 XE cam but I might just bite the bullet on a G5x3 cam from LG motorsports. Its like a 234/242 .610/.605 on a 112 LSA which may be borderline for daily driving on a stock cubed LS1.
I also picked up some qlogic kick panel speaker enclosures so I can put the last 4 speakers in the car as I had no fronts with the dash being from a 4th gen.
I have an aluminum Fidanza flywheel to replace the stock LS7 steel flywheel but I may just sell it and forget about it as the car shifts and leaves the lights so smooth as it is.
So yeah I am pretty anxious to get this stuff bolted on and car retuned. I am hoping that the 2 10bolt rear ends I have will be enough to tide me over to 2010 when I can afford a 12 bolt and actually launch the car
