Ya anymore it seems like most of them have the gfx. To be honest I don't really like them so I made sure i got one without them.
By the way you got a very good looking car yourself.

Wow nice cars guys,
87tpi-----nice rim selection, they look great on the car
how much did you lower it?? and did you tint your windows yourself??
goalieforlife----nice hood, looks great...i like to see black birds. My opinion is that black is one of the best colors for a bird.

Im in El Paso, about 30-40miles east of peoria on 24. I actually purchased my car in peoria in 2007 from a private seller. Since then it has gotten a ton of work haha.
Re: 90-92 firebird picturees....post em
Here are a couple of pics of my 91. It is not as shiny as the other cars as it still wears what is left of the factory paint. It is an old car craft project car that I bought from David Freiburger this past spring. I am currently buying suspension parts as that is my first upgrade. It has the SLP catalog emptied on it as well as a 150 shot of nitrous.

Re: 90-92 firebird picturees....post em
Yeah i know where it is. Got mine from my father in-law 3 years ago, havent done much but exhuast, ign, and intake stuff. Body and int. need some TLC to be up to par. Yours looks nice, like the wheels and T/A hood.

It lowered it about 1 3/4" Not too sure as I put them in after I pulled the motor. They're settling still.

91CCFirebird----wow it looks good for original paint, good luck with it.
wilderXJ----thanks, the wheels look way better than the original stock wheels. hood wise i like the T/A hood but i think im gonna get a ram air hood. i think they look nice on these style birds. ya my car has been through a new brake system, exhaust system, and minor engine work(mainly some nonfunctional sensors and a tuneup) other than that i had it painted about 4months ago with new doors, new hood, new front bumper, new tail lights, and minor body work.(lucky it had no rust because it is originally from texas).....oh ya and i put new seats, gauge cluster, floor mats, stereo system with subs
, and just cleaned it up. its looking really good now and hopefully i can have the cash to put in a chevy 350 twin turbo or a 383 stroker engine this summer.
87tpi---i just wondered because i might lower mine up to 2" this summer. and im not sure whether to get tint put on my windows or get new glass with the tint in the glass so i dont have to worry about it bubbling and look bad.
P.S. I am going to try to get it out today and take a couple of better pictures, but im not sure how that will work out because of the snow on the ground and my picture taking skills haha
. I dont like getting it out in salt so i store it in my shed during winter. NO RUST FOR ME!!!

The windows were tinted when I bought it. I want them darker though, 15% all around. That's how my Audi is and love it.

but my father in law used it really as a DD!!!!
, so she lost some "luster" to say the least, no rust luckly, but bad hail damage to hood, pass A piller, and T-bar and tops. So im trying to take it back to what it wasOh and ditto on the pics this time of year, my is covered up for winter too, she dont have the shine of yours, but i dont think i'll get it back up the drive in the snow
note. as far as i know, in Illinois you can tint the back windows as dark as you want, but for us with only the doors for side windows were SOL, all you can doo is the rear Leagally

Any wheels look better than stock, except mabey some Firehawk rims. Hopefully spring she will be getting paint, and hood, I have been thinking about a Ram Air (ram air I from hawks)hood also. My bird originaly sold here in town, im the 3rd owner, original never even had it in rain!!!! but my father in law used it really as a DD!!!! so she lost some "luster" to say the least, no rust luckly, but bad hail damage to hood, pass A piller, and T-bar and tops. thats what i thought about the tint but im still going to ask the cops around here and see if they would let me slide past the law here because it is a small town....but i doubt they will if that is truely the set law for tint in illinois. Anyway here are some pictures before and after my paint job!!!

well looks like you need some new paint haha, but at least that is original and shouldn't be to hard to sand down....when i had mine sanded there where at least 3 different colors that had to be sanded off!! Teal, Torch Red, and that crappy Purple color that is in my pics. It was terrible, but well worth it

I only drove mine for 2 days after I bought it and before the engine went so I am looking forward to firing it up again and driving it. It has a 5 speed now so it should be more fun now.

Here's mine.. Couldn't find the Ground FX for the nose, and front fenders so I used a Formula nose and went GFX from front wheels back.. Here it is.. Going to be Pepper Grey Metallic in March.

I added the pre 91' GTA wing to it and it added to the look a lot.
I hope to have it re-painted soon. Depends on money.

lol.I have pics in my garage thing. I bought it in august and planned on tearing it down this winter but it's been too cold and had to buy a new daily driver to replace my old grand cherokee so funding had been pretty much non existant. Overall it doesn't need much, a fresh paint job and factory rims for the most part. Then I only have typical 18 year old car gremlins to work out like a short that I can't locate that's blowing fuses

I'll never get it as clean and polished as some of the third gens some of the members here have but it should turn a few heads.
Also, I finally ran the vin on carfax (was worried what I would find so I delayed lol) and found that the person I bought it off of bought it from the original owner and they only had it for about 8 months before I bought it. Assuming they sold it because they had a Formula that needed a lot less attention, everything is intact on this car.

My 1991. I had it painted, and swapped the wheels and tires. Im kinda tired of this look. Im thinking of going with a 17/18 wheel swap. Maybe Z06s, or C6s. IDK. Lousy picture too. Sorry.

great looking cars...i wish mine only had 28,000 miles haha but it doesnt.
anyway i just put a new aftermarket intake on my v6 to give it a little more hp, it was definitely worth the money.
