Inside of the wheels or strictly the outside?

havent tried the inside, but i would imagine it would work as well.
the thing about gojo is that it literally dissolves grease and dirt and oil.
its like 50x concentrated dish soap with pumice added in.

ill maybe give it a try and let yall know, but for now, it works wonders on the outside of the wheel and painted inserts as well

I can understand that Gojo works on the outsides, but the insides.... I spent hours (yes, hours) on the insides with a variety of cleaners and more elbow grease than I care to remember. Should you have success, I'd love knowing, as I've just purchased some new IROC wheels.

i use diluted Super Clean and it works great. just let it sit on there for a few minutes and wash it off.

any degreaser will work.I usually wax my wheels when I am done cleaning.Keeps them from getting really gross.

If the inside of the wheel is caked and brown from lack of care, most commercial cleaners (at least the few I've tried) won't be up to the task.

+1 on the Castrol Super Clean. This picture (not really the best quality, this was a few years ago) shows what I did with the inside of the old stock wheels that came on my old RS. I scrubbed them with Super Clean and an old dish scrubbing pad, then sprayed them with a light coat of Dupli-Color wheel paint. Although, there were a few stubborn chunks of baked on goo that I had to take a scraper to.

if i were to do something like that, i wouldnt paint the rim though, id break out the polish and make it shine like a mirror.

I only painted the inside. The outside of them already looked great.

I wouldn't do that, because you'd be taking the wheels off every two weeks to re-polish them again because they would never stay clean.
