my engine bay pic

what do you guys think of my engine bay.... i deleted the ac because it never worked and got tired of looking at it.... i have the ac delete box just haven't put it in yet.... i deleted the cruise control because where i live i never drive on the highway... maybe 4 times ive ever been on the highway out of the 3 years of having this car... deleted the washer fluid system because i never used it and dont need it.... relocated the coolant tank and bought a smaller bottle to put underneath where you close the hood.. Air deleted, smog deleted, cold start deleted, heater valve deleted, and TB bypass charcoal canister relocated underneath the SLP cold air intake...... it looks very good... now it looks like the old muscle car engine bay.... i kept all the parts to put it back... im never going to sell the car though... i still looks factory because it has the tpi and my engine bay does not look like a hack job......

Re: my engine bay pic

thanks... lol i forgot i had the screw driver..... but the next step i guess would be to power wash the engine bay... im pretty much done as far as taking things out of the engine bay.... i dropped close to 150 pounds worth of weight that i didnt need... the spare tire and the equipment to go along with it was almost 50 pounds alone...

Looks pretty good. I've got my engine bay done pretty much the same way. I've got some red "Made for You" wire looms if you're interested, they'll really organize the wires.

....and not sure how "clean" you wanna go, but actually hand buffing and waxing all the painted areas of the bay really goes a long way.

Looks good!

Re: my engine bay pic

dude i just turned 20... i dont have a wife..... so i got plenty of time.... well my car has been sitting there and i minus well do something to do... i already have the block and stuff to put it.... my dad and i are gonna swap it in because he is the one that built my engine... im gonna use my exisiting tpi and heads from that motor you see in the pic..... so i do have a motor... plus the engine bay clean up makes it a hell of alot easier to do work on the car and makes it simple to take the engine out with our lift.....
