painting engine

Need some help deciding on a color. The engine bay is white. I need a paint color for block and intake, but I'm not sure I want to paint the aluminum heads.
Black
Dark Blue
Red
Charcoal/Cast Iron

i prefer a lighter color like gray or alum. . makes it easier to see oil leaks and to work on stuff . just my thoughts , good luck .

I did just see an engine in a lighter gray and it looks good. I tried adding that to the poll, but was unable to alter the poll selections.

I vote for body color to me it looks good to have the engine matching the rest of the car. I plan to paint mine that way when I replace the LO3, unless it is an LS1, then I might try to polish the outside of the block and clearcoat it.

Doh, the body is white so that won't work. Hmm....what about Chevy Orange?
