car polish??

I want get the paint on my camaro to look a little better. I got the Turtle Wax color Cure car polish. What is polish Is it another name for wax. Can I polish and wax my car. or can I only use this polish?? I don't understand what it is. I though it was wax untill I read it. Will my car shine like it was just waxed?? I'm confused. Thanks

Wax is just that.

A polish could be a lot of things. Most of the new polishes are a chemical polymer and many have UV protectant in it.

Personally I think a polish like Zaino (insert Zaino plug here) is much better for your car versus wax.

polishes are usually a non-waxy compound with a light abrasive in it to remove oxidation and other annoyances. I use 3M products, the two I've used can be found at wal-mart, one's a scratch remover, one's a finish restorer. the finish restorer has a little wax in it, but they work good together and used in that order.

I personally like the zaino products. I've done all the cars in the household and will never go back to waxes again.

Im a lil insaino , I have
Zaino on the braino

This stuff leaves no powder and beads water so good I have to squegee my car off before I dry it Plus its the sweetest smelling stuff besides a new car interior The fact that it is safe on decals and I can wax my baby in the bright sunshine is an added bonus.

some of my favorite quotes:

I do not blame stupid people for being stupid, what i do blame them for is for not asking smart people for advice. When ever my mom asks for help, i tell her, i'm the one who knows what he's doing, not you, don't question me, just do what i tell you to. if stupid people would just realize they were stupid, and consult a smart person for advice, before they went and did something stupid and got pregnant/got someone pregant, this ****hole of a world would be a lot better. - adam corola

Hey Guys, I usually use New Finish, but would like to try this "Zaino". Where do I get it, can I get it at Wal-mart? Is it just called Zaino?
Thanks
