so i have a 89 formula that me and my dad are working on going to paint soon and kinda on a budget but had a brand new 06 mustang spoiler at his shop just sitting around so we brought it home one day and mocked it up and it did not look that bad ( for a free spoiler) what do yall think.

 

It's too rounded and doesn't match the back, imho. If you're on a budget I'd go with a flat base model spoiler over the Mustang one. The best option would be a fiberglass replica of the correct spoiler for a Formy.

 

It is a bit rounded but our cars are not square boxes. I think it can be pulled off. I also think it'll be great to have something different...

 

yea, i think that being different sometimes outweighs blending in with every other formula.

Its too curved and round. I was never really a fan of pedestal spoilers though. I have an 05 GT stang as well and the first thing I did was put a Roush spoiler on it. My pedestal is in a landfill somewhere.

 

It doesn't look to bad imo. But remember you do lose 30 hp for every stang part you have on your camaro.

 

My advice would be get a 4th gen spoiler.period.
