I trying to touch up the new car which is a 89 blue IROC and I can not figure out what the color is for touch up paint.

 

Look on your rpo code sheet in your center console. It should be 2 numbers followed by a U (ie: 23U which is '86 blue). Also the "wa" codes at the bottom of the code sheet have your actual codes that a paint store uses to mix your paint, though either works.

Thanks, that was easy enough. Looks like the only one they had will not work. Any one know where to buy touch up paint in the little paint on cans?

 

Not likely to find it for '89 anymore. Might have to pony up for a pint at a paint store, or maybe you can get lucky and a body shop is doing a car that color somewhere and you can talk them out of enough for a touch up bottle. If there are any sources on the web for that small of an amount, I'm not aware of them, but there may be.
