Re: Have you named your Cars?
The camaro's name is Haley, at least for now..
Once she gets a mans voice and her ***** drop in the from of awesome 350, might have to change that.
No name on the GP yet, but i havent even had it 24 hours yet, so i havent had time to think.

Re: Have you named your Cars?
My car's name is Kristine. Doesnt sound too much like a stripper name, but with the K instead of the CH, kinda makes up for it.
Re: Have you named your Cars?
The 82 is known as "spare parts storage" for now.
My wife refers to the 88 as "her car"
The 90 might as well be known as "panty dropper" since several college students in our local club keep borrowing it to pick up random girls. For a 20 year old car it does the job remarkably well and with very little effort.
The 92 earned the name "Rolling Thunder" when the project ended and we put it back on the road. Anything that can shake a 2 story house, set of car alarms 3 driveways away, and can be heard from a half mile when you get on it, deserves the name.
My wife also refers to the 02 as "her other car"
You can all guess which ones I'm not allowed to drive...

Re: Have you named your Cars?
I named mine Fawkes, after the Phoenix from Harry Potter... It seemed fitting after I had the engine replace.

Re: Have you named your Cars?
This may sound crazy, but growing up in the 80's it works for me. 3 of my favorite cars are guys. The General Lee, K.I.T.T., and the Bandit's Trans Am (Son of Trigger). The originals name for the General Lee was Traveler, the real Gen. Lee's horse. Trigger was the name of Roy Rogers horse. So I named my 88 Trans Am after John Wayne's horse. So the name of my car is Dollar.

Re: Have you named your Cars?
We name everything. Cars, boats, cats etc. The IROC ended up being "Rocky" for obvious reasons.

We added a new Jeep Wrangler Unlimited last fall. I really wanted a Rubicon model but ended up with the Sahara so I named it "Ruby"!

The wife's lil' peepot Toyota Echo (54MPG) is PJ for Puddle Jumper.

My 89 TA is called Meg... It could be Mega fast but not yet, could be Mega costly and Mega time consuming, but I like her just the same. And No it just isnt cool to ride in a car thats not female. So we call em by the names that fit best.

My 82 trans ams name is KITT.
The DeLoreans name is Gloria (for now)
My 75 Nova is named smokey bear because it was my dads car and he was a sheriff.
I havent thought of a name for my 87 GTA yet but I think black and red rainbow is fitting.

Re: Have you named your Cars?
Named my first one Rebecca Marie. I was arguing with my girlfriend when i was driving her once and the car died and I was to mad to think and accidentally called the girlfriend Rebecca Marie and her name is Rebecca Ann. We broke up shortly afterwards. It fit the car tho cause if the girlfriend was mad the car wouldnt run and if the car wouldnt run the girlfriend was mad. The car also has a sixth sense of when I am about to get into trouble cause she starts acting up just like the ex.
