My 85Z is called Alicat.The first 3 letters are from my wife's name,and the cat part relates to a alleycat.Takes off fast.Now for the personalized number plates.

I had a 1982 Camaro that we called Debbie... I don't think I've named any of the other 5.. She had a hell of an attitude that car.

 

I call mine :The Blue Dragon: kind of stole Will Farrels idea from Old School he called his second gen The Red Dragon.
read through all the post was suprised no one else named theirs similar. I did see The Dragon as one though

 

My 86 is nicknamed "zoom" and the 92 JY car is "tweety"

 

Comes from sailors who said they gave their boats Female names because it reminded them of one of the most important person in their life, their mother. Fast forward to our age and we choose female names for the sex appeal. Do not mix the sailor mentality with the new age mentality or you get....

Well my first 3rd gen was Betty, i haven't named my 89 Firebird yet. I have to drive her to get the feel.

My '90 RS acquired my nickname of "Hawke" and though it seems the norm to view one's vehicle as "female", I've always seen mine as "male". Won't get into the reasons why, though....

 

I wanted to name my 3rd gen Camaro so thought about Christine after one of my fave films but then settled on another Stephen king title and named her Carrie

 

shadow and kirara. Kirara i had first...then shadow as in kirara's shadow cause he came 2nd..

My old 89 Iroc was Trinity (She was one of 3 cars I owned at the same time)
My k5 Blazer is Chastity (I owned all three of these cars at the same time, still own this one)

Well, when i purchased my 86 Iroc, it's neon green. when i stripped everything out, the interior, and some of under the engine bay is the stock burgandy color.. Since then my friend's tend to call it "The Hulk" due to it's colors.

 

i named mine the tank. cause its a bigass hunk of steel..lol but yea for some reason its a girl..

spend alot of money on them and dont get much back

 

Haha i named my '85 Iroc Christine because when I bought it, it would only start when it wanted to, and ocassionally stall when it felt like it.

My cardomain nickname for my Maro is Redrum, not that its fast or anything, but just cause its red and murder (redrum spelled the right way, stephen king reference) on my check book to keep in order!!

My 1992 B4C Camaro with supercharger is known as Mario. Well thats what my wife calls it. She also calls it a piece of **** and wont let me go sideways with her in the car.....thats women for you. I just call it "The Chev"

I feel a little embarrassed here, but my girl's name is Bandit. She's a piece of s**t, but she's my honey, and even though she's going to cost me about as much as my fiancee will, I wouldn't trade her for anything. Mind you, the Van Halen symbol and the big "3" is temporary masking tape. The "3" is actually getting painted on her. For now, anyways.

 

Gonna say it proud, my 87's name is Steve, no idea why. Just fits

Developed a knock on the way home after buying it.

Never went and purposely thought of a name for any car I've owned. They more or less just fit right and stuck. Had a yellow '73 240Z a few years ago. Called it Nuprin. Little. Yellow. Different.

Well gianna was sold and now I just have the 87 GTA and her name is ForceFed

I always thought only chicks named their cars... but I sometimes refer to mine as 'Laura' (my ex-wife's name), just to **** her off- she HATES that car!
Still, cars are better than women- they don't need much warming up; you can get into them whenever you want; when you are done, you turn a key and they shut up immediately; you can ignore them for as long as you want; and no one gets upset when you trade them in for a younger model!

 

87 Iroc-Z is Relentless (I can floor it and throw it around corners (havent crashed yet) and it wont quit on me. Starts up right off the bat everytime. I let it sit for two months and boom started up right away).
00 Intrepid is ???? ( havent thought of anything yet but all the fenders and front bumper are damaged from my sister driving it and it takes a while to start and wont rev past 3k RPM. So it is slowly dieing. Any ideas on names for it????)

We call it Jack. The guy we bought it from was named Jack.

 

My gf hates my 85z and named it 'Christine' after I got all scratched up working on the dash gauge cluster.

 

The previous owner of the '91 called her Rhonda. I'm keeping it.

 

Once I get my Holley Stealth Ram installed along with all of my awesome new mods I'll name my baby "Holly Z". So whenever I get new plates I'll request they be named Holly Z because she is my baby.

 

Decided to name my 84 Z28 Jayden. Not sure why I picked Jayden, but I've always thought it was unique.

Until I have my first kid (girl) or wreck the car, she will be named Jayden.

I call her The FireChicken, my buddies call me FireCock (***holes) my brother calls her Christine because everytime Im flat broke and wanna sell it, **** starts breaking left and right, and my girl calls her The Brute because of the resembalance of this old school gasser that use to drive around here. Haha I remember my buddies old 84 TA he called Pepsi because he knew when he junked it he'd be drinking soda out of it a few years later!
