Re: Have you named your Cars?
My car is named Shadow. 3 reasons why; first my car has Decipticon emblems on it (wanted a Tranformer style name), second it was an oxymoron at the time (she was white but will be metallic green next month), and lastly my gf helped me name her.

Re: Have you named your Cars?
OK after reading all of these I thought I would share mine:
91 Firebird 'Baby Bird'. Why because
68 429 Thunderbird 'Big Bird'. Sorry not yellow though lol.
Otherwise the 91 would have a different name. This way all my friends know which Bird.

Re: Have you named your Cars?
My 87 Formula is named Lindsay. My buddy and I were drunk one night trying to think of a name and I remembered this hot chick from my freshman year of highschool and her name was Lindsay. I've always liked that name for some reason and it seemed to fit my Formy very well. My wife also likes the name, I think it will have to grow on here a bit though. I didn't tell her the story on how I came up with it though. Haha
EDIT: Is it spelled Lindsay or Lindsey? Either way, doesn't matter I guess.

I'm a girl and it depends on what the car looks like really whether its male or female.
I call mine Orlando, could never really think of a girl name that would be worthy. Also called My Baby
its getting murdered with aqua flake louvers, i'm open to any suggestions possibly?
It's my first car

Re: Have you named your Cars?
The 86WS6 is Amanda, named for the original owner, a friend, who is deceased now. The F-350 crewcab dually 4x4 is Big Red. It is named for a draft horse we owned when I was a kid. He was big, and he was red. My DD, a 2007 Crown Vic, is the Bluesmobile. It got its name because it is blue and looks like a cop car. Betty's 2008 Crown Victoria is named Little Red, because we can't have two Big Red's, and Betty would not drive it if she thought it looked like a cop car. It does, but don't tell her... My winter vehicle is an 01 Expedition 4x4. We call it Snow Buggy, because we mostly drive it in the winter when snow and ice are on the roads. It burns waaaay too much fuel to drive all year, but is heavy and well balanced, which makes it great on icy roads. Snow Buggy is our sacrifice to the Rust Gods. I have not come up with a name for the 82WS6 yet. My big boat is Michael's Inheritance. The name for the boat came from a family friend, because my son Michael gets upset about how much money we spend on boating each year. Our little boat is the Miss Donna. That boat was the pride and joy of my long deceased mom, who was an avid water skier. Mom would be proud that her 32 year-old boat is still being enjoyed by her great grandchildren. Yeah, pretty much everything around our house has a name...

Re: Have you named your Cars?
We were towing the Iroc to Texas for a car show and my wife when she was driving kept calling the Iroc Harold and since i have the 91 z28 the kids named it Kumar so both of my camaro's are harold and kumar. I sometimes have more colorfull names for them when tings are not going right F***ing Piece of S*** LOL but They have become familly members the kids and the wife. all like them My 18 year old daughter wants the z28. my 24 year old son wants the Iroc and my 11 year old daughter wants my mustang daily driver. so i still have to get 2 more to redo for the other 2 kids LOL Here is Harold Kumar and Shelby It's not a shelby but my daughters middle name is shelby so thats how it got the name.

I affectionately refer to mine as "Squeaky", although it really has more rattles than squeaks.

I named mine Danica after the bloodsucking head vampire bitch on Blade Trinity. Every time I work on her she draws blood. But I still love her.
