Paint Job Prices????

How much have people paid... hope ya don't mind me in askin but is around $1200 good for a paint job i mean not like show quality but just street quality or close to stock paint job???

It really depends on the color and the quality you want. If you are keeping the car the same color that cuts a lot of the cost. If the body needs little or no body work that obviously helps.

It cost me $1300 in materials to paint my convertible. I guess a good factory paint job would be $2200 to $3500.

Like he said above, it depends on how much body work you need done. Expect to pay around $3K for a nice job.

depending on the shop you go to, if you do all the body work yourself and keep it the same color, it's not very farfetched to get a nice looking job done for what you're looking to spend.

i repainted my car last month did most the body work my self at skool and painted it at skool all i apid was 335 and that was for the paint. and my car had some major rust holes and filled them in with fiberglass filler and some rust sealer and it came out nice and my car is all black and next moth im getin white ss stripes put on and the car color sanded so the orange peal goes away but with the orange peal the car looks nice, even thought i put a few little scraches puttin on the damn tail lights. my falt
