I'm gonna leave them on there a few days to see if I like them.. The one thing that always bothered me about my Irocs is how tiny they look on the car.. This kind of fills up the wheel well a bit more..

BTW, should I make the front lower?

Firebird wheels will always look better on a Firebird then Camaro wheels. To add, 20-slots are only worth about $200. If you like them, run them. A set of diamond spoke 16's would really make the car pop though.

I'm going to have to disagree. 16" 91-92 Rims look amazing... especially when they are redone and polished with new centercaps, they way they spin as the Camaro takes off. However, the GTA's got sweet rims, and so did the Formula's (like those rims on this car). Keep the rims, they look good!

For some reason, and I never could understand why, the IROCs just don't seem to fit well with the car..

I like the way they look. Much better than Camaro wheels on a bird.

Meh, stock rims on a mostly stock car. Looks better than the IROC rims, IMHO. However, I think my ARE's look pretty good (and will look even better professionally cleaned up and polished). Better yet, I'd rather see some later Grand Am 16" rims (similar to the ones on that Viper in your pics but 5-spoke and polished) on a Bird. GTA rims would definitely work for you, though.

There's nothing saying everyone has to have the same opinion or do the same thing. I just personally don't like Camaro wheels on Firebirds or Firebird wheels on Camaros. Abou tthe only exception are the diamond spoke wheels, they look good on everything. The rest of the time it just looks like someone got a deal on the wrong wheels.

Opps, can you tell I'm tired? I thought you said Firebird rims look better than Camaro rims, not the whole thing about Camaro rims on Firebirds and vice-versa, I completely agree with you! Sorry. Yeah, keep the 'Bird rims on the 'Bird.

Re: Yay, or nay, new wheels for my car

Single line IROCs are the best looking third gen F-Body wheels period (maybe an exception for the Firehawk Ronals) and to me Pontiac made some of the ugliest wheels I've ever seen all through the 80s. The twenty slots, the 15 inch versions, even the crosslace rims dont look all that great to me.

The single line IROC wheels look far better to me than the double-line or the 91-92 16's do.

HOWEVER....

That car of yours does look really good on those bird wheels. Those IROCs are 16s so I dont know how they would fill the wheel well less... are the tires the sme size?

By the way, get some 1/2 inch ID (5/8 OD maybe? Not sure, cant remembeR) heater hose and put those arou nd the top of your rear springs. A foot is needed per spring, And ditch the stock spring isolators. That should drop the rear of your car about a half inch and will help a lot with the rake you have.

Will take you about an hour including the trip to the store.

Re: Yay, or nay, new wheels for my car

I just bought some 91 formula ones for my GTA. I cant stand the gold cross laces. But I am keeping them.. my car has 20K miles and the gold crosslaces are perfect- so into storage!
I am putting them on in the spring and will share pics. I want to get them black chromed to match the black car
