With red interior? I'd say silver metallic, platinum, gunmetal, black, or white. A really dark navy blue might work as well. All of those give you a bit of contrast and, to my eye, look good with red. I don't know about burnt orange, but it's your car--if you're the one spending the money and/or time on paint, get what looks best to you.

Re: Paint scheme????????
My first 3rd gen had red leather and the exerior was also red - it was also a convertible. I thought it looked great but a lot of people didn't like it.
You are the one that is going to drive it and have to live with it so whatever makes you happy is going to be the right color.
Black looks great on these cars but is hard to keep clean. White doesn't look so hot w/ red interior IMO. Maybe a nice charcoal?
Good luck!

Re: Paint scheme????????
I would not go orange, not with a red interior.
Stick to shades they will look the best anywhere between black and white lol. Dark Charcoal would look nice, lots of metallics and a little pearl for high shine and a nice flop.

Re: Paint scheme????????
You could do a dark metallic gray with silver stripes? You could do a pearl white with red metallic or candy stripes???

I know the above isnt a 3rd gen and I know the below isnt either...You can find inspiration from anywhere imo....

Maybe even add a red pinstripe around the silver to pick up the color on the interior.
On the white/red combo you could do a black pinsrtipe to add high contrast.
Good luck with your decision and please keep us posted!

Re: Paint scheme????????
My suggestion is gunmetal gray / medium gray metallic
Burnt orange is also nice. Simple red is, well, overdone.
My car was originally white... the white/red combo is often regarded as pretty tacky... But it can be very nice if there's some red accent on the body, like a pinstripe, or striping above the gfx.

I love burnt orange and copper, but I wouldn't pair it up with red though. Just wouldn't look right IMO. Black, grey/silver and white would work depending on many things. Black would be more difficult to keep clean while white tends to hide imperfections etc. I would maybe go with platinum.

Bright Purple.....yeah right. No I agree with everyone else. red/black/grey/ and now that I'm thinking about it, gold with a red stripe or maybe just gold might look cool. But thats about it.

Re: Paint scheme????????
If it were up to me and this was my car, I would paint the car pearl white. Sure it's a pain to keep clean, but so is the other alternative: black. White will not show dings or scratches near as bad as a black car will, and will be easier to live with on a day to day basis. I have owned 2 black cars and never will do that again. But if your going for a little newer look, any new car I see that has a red interior, has a black exterior.
I don't know how good the Burnt Orange would look with a red interior, but I had a Sunset Orange Metallic Olds Cutlass and personally love the burnt orange shades.
It's your ride, make it appeal to you.
