Just thought I'd share my new discovery ....

Yesterday I polished my lexan t-tops with Meguiar's Deep Cystal System Polish and they have never, ever (since I've had the car) looked better. Waterspots ... gone. Many tiny little scratches ... gone. Dull look ... gone. Give it a try.

P.S. - Would this also work on the plastic rear tail lights? Anybody tried it?

 

hey thanks for the advice.i have the lexans and while much lighter than those heavy *** glass tops,they sure dont look anywhere near as nice(not that it matters,mine are never on anyways .i think ill give it a try and see how they turn out.thanks again.

Thats because its plastic. You can polish just about any hard plastic to an awesome shine.
FYI: You can polish glass too, but I would use an electric polisher to do it evenly. Polish will remove water spots from glass and make it look clearer.

You can also use polish on your tail light lenses to make them shine like new.

just dont put wax on your t-tops or glass, it will make a nasty film.
