Got a th350 like that, one day it went funky and only way to make it work right was to shift up and down like a stick at every stop, though still worked perferct, no slip.......

mine does slip and don't go into overdrive. so i got to replace it soon.

I ened up doing that.

cost $1195 but got a nice built one thanks to Discover at $20 a month intrest.
Still worth it, 5 clutches, 3.08 first, firm kit, 2200 stall TC.

I know this is an old thread, but I am curious if the OP actually completed this idea or not. I did this on my old bird in 07-08 time frame.
