Am I the only one who thinks it's very rude to come in here and start to blabber in Spanish?
Dude, take an example from some of us foreigners here. I'm from the Netherlands yet you don't see me typing in Dutch here.

Twin_Turbo, I really respect you for that man. I've thought about this in the past, and I would do my best to do the same if our roles were reversed, its just respectful.

Re: hola soy nuevo me presento

I think its great that people from other countries reach out to get help from forums. I belong to other auto/cycle forums and I'm always curious how their vehicles got there and what parts are available to them.. Another thing is with the internet we can all share information and buy/sell parts or vehicles where as before we were limited to printed materials to obtain these things. I'm 43 and I remember how hard it was to get stuff like this. Also with google translate this guy or anyone else out there can finally join in on this open forum and participate.

Welcome and Buen Venidos!

Sorry dude. For some reason I think that'd be hilarious. Just randomly intersperse dutch words/phrases in long posts. You'd confused almost everyone!

What do you think, I use google translator??

[dutch]wat denk jij dan? dat ik de google vertaler gebruik? Heb je die zelf wel eens gebruikt? Dat werkt helemaal niet, wordt een grote puinhoop[/dutch]

[google translate]what do you think? I use the google translator? Have you ever used them? That does not, is a big mess[/google translate]

IMO, 1st thing you have to do if you want to make yourself understood, learn the language. No brainer IMO

It's actually no trouble at all, I have absolutely no problem speaking/writing/understanding English. I was just trying to say that I expect it as the norm, if you want to participate, learn the language. I get pissed off when people living here for over 30 years don't speak a damn word of our language, I figured it'd be the same for you people.

Re: hola soy nuevo me presento

Mucho gusto Joel.

You people??? As in Americans?? There is no set language for Americans(sure english is the primary, but by far not the only.) There is such a diversity here. Unlike in Eurasia which has thousands of years of civilization and have set languages per country....America is a mixture of everything and anything. When I lived in Germany, there was no selection of what language you wanted to hear/read. Here in America there are several languages almost anywhere you go. If you don't understand, let someone who does understand answer the question(s).

Don't be apologetic, it's not your fault that some here can't seem to hold their trashy personality to themselves and resort to name calling.

Good to know there is no set language, next time I'm over there I won't have to do any trouble making myself understood at all then. Teddy R was wrong all along

Good to know there is no set language, next time I'm over there I won't have to do any trouble making myself understood at all then. Teddy R was wrong all along
Agreed!!

And to all those saying there is no set language, that's BS and you know it, In the United States the language is English. This country may be made up of different cultures, but English is the language we speak. So quit being so PC (which is a big problem in this country) and face reality.

But TGO is not the US, in fact is world wide.

This has gotten way out of hand, this man was simply introducing himself in Spanish and somehow it turned into this, keep in mind he translated Spanish into English.

Way to welcome someone..SMH

JMR - If you feel the thread should be locked please use the "Report Post" feature. That is much more effective then adding a Post.

As far as what language is used, the website is based in the US. Realistically if you want help, post in English.
