Many people perfer it over zaino. It all depends on your tastes. You gotta try both, I'm a zaino fan, but there are many that swear by meguires.

I use it, and love it.
personaly i won't spend the money on zaino, when i can get maquires at any local store.

I know this sounds like a broken record but allow me to share my opinion. I have used both, and Zaino, when used correctly, is far superior in my book. It is extremely easy to apply and remove, and it deepens the color and shine better than anything I've ever used. It can not be stressed enough that you must let it dry completely before removing it. If you don't have the patience to let it dry, it won't work well. I've heard it lasts a long time too, but I rarely take my IROC out (and never in inclement weather) so I can't personally attest to that aspect of the product.

I get my car this weekend from getting painted black and i wasn't sure if i should just order zaino becasue the pictures i see that have been waxed with zaino are awsome. thanks for your help
What is the stuff that they use when you get your car detailed? My neighbor gave me some...and it worked great. It brought my dull paint to an amazing shine. He gets me this stuff for free..but it was in an unlabeled bottle. I gotta find out what it is...b/c if this made my paint look great...then I can only imgane what it would do to those cars which already have mint paintjobs.

Jims83TA... it's probably a 3M product. Most use them.
MudVayne, you have to wait a good while before you start waxing/polishing.
I still have not polished mine after 8 weeks. But I feel it is coming very soon.

I use that stuff all the time and other Meguire products.I just can't justify paying that much for Zaino stuff or buying into the hype like a lot of people have done.

After an SUV all but backed over me in the parking lot at work, I had everything forward of the windshield painted. The body shop told me to wait 90 days before applying anything that had silicone in it. They also told me if the product I was going to use did not say clearly that it didn't have silicone in it, that it more than likely did have silicone in it.
A couple of me friends told me to wash the car with the Meguires gold soap, as it was the gentlest on the paint, and to only lightly dry it with a 100% cotton towel, no buffing or rubbing for the first 90 days.
Once I got past that period, I took it and had it professionally detailed, and then took a bazillion pictures...

Like cg91ta said. It's recommended that you stay away from most waxes and polishes for 90 days. Not worth the risk of not allowing your paint to dry or cure. Wash with anything you trust... if you use mitts, replace them often to avoid scratches, that or wash them very well. Use one to clean wheels for and one for paint. Brake dust is nasty and so is tire shine.

when my truck was wrecked (the first time), they gave me a small paint can with a small amount of 3M polish, but they told me to wait 90 days for the clearcoat's safety also.
but right now, all i use is Meguires products (Gold Class wash, polish, wax, leather cond., Clay bar) because thats the only decent stuff sold around here, but it works well if you have ALOT of patience.
