wanna show my daughter the "emo" black with red lettering IROCS. she loves the color combo so I wanted to show her some clean examples... they are kinda rare... my old neighbor had one when i had my 86 TA

Not in great condition, I think this is the scheme you want:

LOL no problem... this thing was bout destroyed when I got it. GF likes the red interior, but I want to black it out, but still keep some red accents and the red IROC graphics.

Dueling73s car is badass! I'm intending to do this on my car this spring. I already have a nice red interior, just gotta paint it black with the red pin stripe at the bottom... Great lookin' cars though, I love the black/red combo on third gens.

Thanks everyone for the compliments. I had an 85 IROC black with red interior back in 80's with TPI and the Contour interior and had to sell it to buy a van for my new family. Now I am am old and living by myself and searched for sometime for a car like my old one to bring back my youth LOL! I stripped the bottom of the car from undercoating and it is like new. Body needs paint and allot of door dings need fixing but no rust at all. I have all new drivetrain including a 406 SBC plus TKO 600 and a strange 12 bolt all about ready to be installed before I get to the body work. Good luck to all your projects.
