I only have the GM TBI engine with 700r4. Only part 3rd gen? Lol. But it also has a Ford axel. So it's a mutt. I've waited 6 years until could get a garage up.

 

I had this idea to use a few American themed flags I had laying around. I was tired of looking at the red GAF letters repeated all over on the insulation board. The header is Gorilla taped onto the hurricane bar and the middle and bottom are held in place by rare earth magnets. The upper and lower star field is printed and stuck to the door insulation. I like the way they billow when the door is open and move with the breeze.



I need to cover the drywall above the door, probably with more stars.

 

I have a 20x35 working storage unit with full set of tools and such (hidden by the TGP) with power, about the same size at home. Both are rotating cars from time to time, so they look differently throughout the weeks, but here they are!

Decided to bump this thread. It seems to be a good decision (correct me if I'm wrong). Always cool to see how people set up their space. Some seriously clean and functional setups here, makes me want to redo mine. Just picked up my thirdgen from drivetime, so I'm finally getting the space ready.

 

1987 IROC with 28,200 miles in the middle of an LS7/570, Tremec T56 Magnum F swap. Holley Dominator and lots of UMI suspension pieces. 1991 LS376/480, Tremec T56 Magnum swapped Foxbody coupe. Holley Dominator and a whole lot of Maximum Motorsports suspension pieces.

 

It's been a while since I last posted in this thread (2011). We've been using the cr@p out of the shop, and since retiring from a real job, I'm spending almost every day out there, even with the temps up in the upper 90's-F. Here's a picture of our 'F-body corner', with our 92 B4C, '85 Trans Am and. '86 SVO. Shot from atop our '80 Bluebird Wanderlocge. We've cut inventory down to 'only' 10 vehicles.
