I want to see pics of your garage that we spend so much time working on our cars. I am a new home owner with a great garage and would like some ideas. Also I think pics with thirdgens being worked on are some of the best cuz we all know are cars are never done!!!

I found this when I moved in, and sourced out a good gas heater for it and this summer I'm going to have it installed and put a flu in the ceiling.

 

It was a huge mess. Most of the way through an engine swap.

thanks. at one point I had anodizing in there, but then sold that off and brought a plastic injection molding machine, sold that and now the back table is just for polishing.

 

Still have tools and equipment packed away..but its my man cave.

 

It'll come around, didn't get the garage I wanted for many years, once the kids grew up, I was able to move and have something for myself, hang in there....

 

added a few new lights tonight...and to think i used to use one shop light ha ha

 

Pretty much everything I need/want ... except space!

This is my old garage, I just moved and no longer have the lift, New garage needs ideas, right now it's a half finished space.

 

How tall was the ceiling in the old garage? If you lifted the car all the way up, could you park under it?

regular6d get a low boy, it will lift the entire car off the ground & you still can get in. It lifts the car on the body.

My garage is just barely big enough for my wife's cavalier let alone my camaro plus all my tools. My "projects" to quote my wife, have to sit in driveway.

 

Same size on the other side of the missing picture. Ripping out the carpet the last home owner put in and doing a checkerboard race deck and repainting all the walls,etc..
