No problem! My girlfriend of 2 years and I found out we were gonna have a baby, So I needed to let her know that I love her and was with her in this, so I sold the truck to buy her a fancy diamond ring, payed off a credit card, and re-modeled the house with a new nursery.

Kind of one of those growing up things, so I feel good about doing it for the right reasons, but I still miss it.

I need an LS motor in my Camaro more than a huge gas sucking truck right now

 

honorable reasons. pick up a cheap 5.3. around here you can get one with about 110k for $350

Sweet C-Body. I used to have a 66 New Yorker 4dr and a 76 New Yorker 2dr, both 440s. Those are awesome, indestructible cars, and super smooth going down the road.

Long term Pro-tourin project currently on hold due to the Iroc...'70 Buick Skylark convertible. LT1 has been sold & T56 now in Iroc...thinking Buick turbo 3.8/auto in the future.

I think it is called a "whale Tail" .....I actually got it from a member of this forum who had removed it from his car. When I asked him where I could get one, he said he would sell me his.

I searched the internet when I was looking for mine, never did find the exact one. Rumor has it they turn up on E-Bay from time to time. Go to autoparts on E-Bay and do a search for spoilers, you may find one, or one you like even better. I would help but I am at work and cannot get onto E-Bay from my computer

Finally got the center caps put on the old burban. It took some doing, but I think it turned out great.





That's also my new carport for the GTA and Sidewinder in the background. Thanks awesome landlord!

Haha, no, that's what's left of the old '87 Formula/Trans Am clone in the background. I'm trying to sell the freshly painted doors and GFX off of it before I hall the wrecked hull off to the crusher.

The Burban is about to get real killer. I'm swapping in a TH700 into it this weekend, along with Doug Thorley tri-y headers and a 2.5" dual exhaust with Magnaflow mufflers. I also just got through swapping leather seats out of a '96 Suburban into it. What a huge difference in comfort.

Love those 66 Chryslers... In the 1970's I owned a dark green 66 Newport coupe with a 383. Painted it Sherwood Forrest green (a mopar color from the 70's), swapped a 440 Comando twin four barrels, white leather interior from a 66 New Yorker coupe with buckets, a console, with floor shift. Crager SS wheels, well you get the picture.

gotta say my firend has a turbo coupe and he and everyone else was all hyped up about it, and i hated it completely, no guts whatsoever

 

Well it was my dads high school car and he promised my brother that he could have it, My dad painted it but my brother hasn't really put much interest into restoring it more. So its more of a decoration

 

IDK about complementing each other, but they're both pretty quick and very fun to drive. The GTA will beat up on the GVR-4 in a straight line, but once there's a corner, the GVR-4 will catch up quick!
