Trans/am has burning phoenix, what can Z28s have
What do you think would make a good image, creature, or mascot for the Z camaros? Since the T/A has the bird, shouldn't the Z have something to identify it in a similar way.
Thanks

Camaros don't have a flaming bird as a matter of discerning taste.
Re: Trans/am has burning phoenix, what can Z28s have
-The classic chevy stripes used on Camaros/Chevelles (two on just the hood and two on just the rear trunk and maybe spoiler, no stripes on the roof or bumpers)

Re: Trans/am has burning phoenix, what can Z28s have
Seriously though, look at the relative brand positioning of both Pontiac and Chevrolet. Chevy (with the exception of the Corvette for obscure historical reasons) was the "working man's" car... relatively conservative body styling wih simple decoration and functional, spartan interiors. Pontiac always had the more aggressive body styles, gaudy decals and cushy interiors to satisfy the attention-seeking behavior of their self-absorbed, attention-seeking potential owners who invariably suffer the lingering effects of having had their breastfeeding ended too early and their toilet training started too late.
Further evidence comes from considering the grooming habits of the stereotypical owners of both F-body flagship (again, if Corvettes are excluded) platforms. The Firebird is forever associated with horseshoe moustaches and leather jackets open over hairy chests which are misguided mating displays to attract the attention of the opposite (or same when taken to extreme limits, explaining why the chicken is "flaming") sex. The Camaro is associated with the ******, which clearly shows that the wearer has no care for style, taste or appearance whatsoever.
Time will tell which brand had the more successful approach.
Oh, wait...

The styling I like best as far as generations go are:
1st gen - Camaro
2nd gen - TA
3rd gen - Camaro
4th gen - TA
5th gen - TA (concept)

Gotta agree iwth the common sentiments here. You want crazy graphics and what not, get a TA or get a 2nd gen Z28... The flaming chicken is a bit over the top.

Ive seen some very interesting color combos.

I never really cared for the huge flaming chicken on the hood either.
I only like the Trans Am decals on the front and rear bumpers.

There are a few thirdgens on here that have pulled them off (Hockey stripes.). Gotta have the right color combo and they have to be in the right place.

Ehh... i wouldn't say it's been pulled off... I've seen it done okay, but thirdgens really don't have the lines for it in the fenders and the nose.

I've seen it twice: Rockyd (Think thats right.) his blue Z looked good and then there is a yellow one that looks good that way too. It's not for me, but I still think it looked good. That said, I'm glad it wasnt a factory option!
