The original owner still has it. He is a member here on TGO. Look up LeonardS.

Its sad because it was the last 3rd gen, I like 3rd gens over 4th gens also the last camaro built in the USA why couldnt the USA keep building Camaros and Firebirds
I saw this car for sale on eBay back in '04 or '05. I contacted the seller and asked him to join TGO. His username is LeonardS. He has posted a ton of pictures on the forums about the car and the website mentioned on all of the photos was put together by our own administrator, JT. I rewrote the "story" that's coming and hasn't been published on the site yet. Leonard is a great guy and the car still has about 125 miles if I remember correctly. JT has spent a lot of time scanning the pictures, documentation and letters from GM for Leonard and creating the website for him. Again, do a search for posts by LeonardS and you will find the car.
BTW, anybody wondering about the ebay ad, it had a buy it now for $50k back then. It would've sold only if he wanted to let it go. I think I offered him $15k and he said he'd think about it!!!

wonder where the last firebird is
Do a search on TGO. It's been discussed before about what the VIN is and where it was located last.
