Custom Modifications, Plan I

Heres the idea, convert the forward parking lamps to circlar, create a large grille based on the standard RS grill without lamps. Convert headlights to soild piece with Xenon lights. Shave Antenee add hood scops. Working up an rear end and side ideas. What are your thoughts?

I like the original parking lights. As for the grille, I can't see it in the pic. I think solid hedlights would look cool, but I don't mind the originals either.

There was an issue of superchevy a summer or two ago that had a guy with a third gen camaro, and took the headlight bracket out of a monte carlo, and put them in his camaro and put monte carlo lights and gave it that single light look, it looked prety good. Wow I didnt even realize metalicamaro lives right by me, thats pretty cool

Alright heres the idea.. Solid Red taillights, move the reverse lights to lower half of the body. I'll get a custom fiber glass bumper with the reverse lights and lower plate. Get a special piece of fiber glass made for the center section with my keyhole for trunk with engraved/depressed letters that read Camaro.

Sounds cool, it'll be different.

One suggestion, shine that Camaro emblem on the nose!

The rear end is okay, I don't like the reverse lights in the bumper. If I had all red taillights, I would just leave one of the "grid squares" clear for the reverse lights. Or if you have a third brake light in the spoiler, put a clear lense on it and wire it to the reverse lights. Other than that, I like the idea of "Camaro" between the lights and the plate inthe bumper.

I have a project that i've been working on myself, I bought an 89 z-28 for my new project and i want to make it stand out from my other camaro. I went down to the dealer and i bought a new camaro nose emblem and i took the black backing off of it. I am in the process of making a fiberglass back piece lined with a piece of mirror. I have drilled a hole in the middle of the mirror and mounted a 12v (Hobby Light) hooked up to my fog-light relay. That way at night, the emblem lights up. It looks real good, I just need to finish trimming it up and making it waterproof.
