I have a 85 Firebird now faded red and I'm planing non painting it red, but I would like to know what orange would look like? Good or not, stripes to, maby black?

Stripes don't seem to work well on birds. The lines really aren't there for them. But orange by itself would be pretty cool.

Orange=Ugly. Sorry. Orange and pink are the two colors that I hate. Nothing looks good in those colors except for a tiger.

 

I think that the hugger orange with black or white herigae stripes would look bada$$!!!!! Do it you won't see another one like it!! JMO

To keep it in the Pontiac family of colors, you should go with 69 GTO Carousel Red. It's close to Hugger Orange, just a bit redder.

nice pic of the gto, my cousion has a judge just like that, except its staturn yellow, i believe thats the color, not a bad color, i personally, will be using, tangerine orange or a orange close to that, i have one in mind but im not sharing it , i been wanting a orage f-body for years, then all of a sudden a big intrest in orange, bah, you guys **** me off hehe

Id definitely agree with the orange being a different color..definitely an eye-catcher....stay away from the stripes...Camaros have body lines that compliment the stripes...birds really don't

if you can..HARLEY Orange...a deeper more robust orange...not so bright as hugger

 

that candy orange color is sweet. i have seen it on a few cars in person and it absolutly blows everyone away. as for the stripe, dual stripes maybe not, but my buddy (jucinGTA) had a red 88 with a single silver stripe down the middle and it looked cool as hell. a orange car with a single black stripe would be kick *** . white and silver could work too. ill try and get a pic of his car.

 

No, No, stripes look great on a bird, what about getting the LS1 style ram air hood and following the two nostrils with black stripes? I would have to think that would look awsome with the black mesh GTA wheels!
