*BTW- I posted this on 3rdgen.org and everyone thinks they're ugly?!!?!? Tell me you guys think different.
Just so you all know. I plan on doing my car just like the Z, same hood, but orange with white stripes, and different wheels. I was trying to get the color closer to the second picture, but this was as good as I could do.

I like the color but I hate the stripes. For some reason I like a car one solid color if you are going to go with a radical color change like that. The stipes make it look like you are trying to hard. I think the look of the car can stand on its own with a clor like that. I would love to be able to paint mine sunset orange but it is red now so that isn't happening. Orange with red interior hmmmmm......YUCK!
Hrm. dont know... there's just something about it that draws up the bile from my stomach. not sure if it's the orange, or the stripes. or the hood, or even the GTA spoiler on it.. Oh wait, it's everything combined. Only thing that's decent are the wheels, but they don't go well with that scheme at all.

Decently worked 87 GTA; still slow running 13.46 @ 114.3mph
huh, what the f*ck is traction?!

Orange is cool. And since my IROC was orange from the factory, hugger orange won't be that much of a color change when I get it painted next spring. BTW, I've decided on Torque Thrust II wheels instead of chromed IROC wheels like on my blue Camaro.

If only I knew how to spell the sound that Homer Simpson makes when he drools.
I like the color on the camaro better. I also think that the wheels and stripes are nice looking. The wheels on the T/A are cool. The paint on it looks a little on the bright side, though(that's probably just from the sunlight). I prefer the ZR1 wheels over the T/A's wheels. The ZR1 wheels are beautiful because of their simplicity. The T/A's wheels are cool, but they do seem a little busy; and that may take the focus off the body color and the rest of the car as a whole.
I personally don't mind wild colors on a car. I do think one solid color is best for a bright color. More colors are ok as long as they're used sparingly and/or in good taste. To be quite honest I've always liked the lime green color that is used on the cars used in the IROC races. I think that color would look good on a thirdgen.
