best way to touch up "CAMARO" emblem...

Hey guys the "camaro" on the front bumper is fading. Whats the best way to paint it and bring it back to life? I'm thinking of carefully placing alot of masking tape around the black and then just re-painting the letters white.

Paint? Spray paint? Whiteout? What do you think?

Thanks fellas....

I used a Testors model paint pen, available at any hobby shop. I used red, took several "coats" if you will - but I was covering the black of the piece because I had sanded down alot of UV damage first. It's worked very well for me - been on there 4+ years now with no issues. The paint pen actually has a felt tip, and the paint is released when you push down - so it's easy to make nice smooth lines. Just do it once all over, wait a day, and redo if needed. 1 pen goes a long way.

I think your method will work fine. Camaronewbies' hobby pen sounds good and you can also use one of those bottles of touch up paint, available at any auto store (looks like an oversized lipstick). It will have small brushes to work with. After it dries, I would then use a product like 'Back To Black' which will darken up the black area.
