I'm surprised nobody has paid Pontiac homage in this thread. I'll stick with 7 characters since that's all we get in TN...
TIN NDN
NDNBIRD
NDNEMC2
And for those with Pontiac motor swaps...
NDN SPD
NDN PWR
CHIEFHP
Oh, and LOLFORD to add to the token blue oval bashing

Before my parents got divorced, the plates on their '87 IROC said "IROCDOU" A.K.A "IROC DO YOU?" i think it is pretty clever.

I've got DRTYBRD (dirty bird) on my plates. She's a bit of a sleeper and I don't wash 'er as much as I should so it seemed to fit nicely.

My 89 GTA I'm building is getting a bored/stroked LS3/80E combo with spray until I can afford a turbo kit. It's going to have TX Classic plates reading RADRLUV. -radar love just waiting on them to arrive. Still 1+yrs out till completion.

My convertible reminds me of the car in the old '80's video game, Sega's Out Run. Ferrari/Camaro, they look the same in an 8 bit video game, right?

I'm thinking
FRMFLMS (from flames) for my bird. Before I started rebuilding it, it had a minor fire, so kinda a dual purpose as the Phoenix (firebird) is reborn strong and new from fire.
Or 2wykid (too wicked) in honor of Carl's obvious third gen merging on Aqua Teen Hunger Force. (Adult Swim Cartoon)

Re: NAME YOUR BEST VANITY PLATES
I toyed with getting "ITSREAL" for the Formula to differentiate against the clones, but someone in Michigan already registered it. When I get a Mustang, (FUGM) I'll try to get "--FBIRD" (ie 09FBIRD).

Re: NAME YOUR BEST VANITY PLATES
And if it slips past them, if one person complains about your plate being offensive (like the abortionists about "prolife"), they'll complain to the DMV and you could have your plate invalidated - YES - this scenario happened to someone).

Re: NAME YOUR BEST VANITY PLATES
Ideally, if you worked for the DMV, you could search for the regular plates before they get assigned, until you found a unique plate, so you don't have to pay extra fees for (like "000 AAA" or 3 letters that form simple words: "123 FUN"). At least my new plate ends with "F50".
Or get a plate that's hard to read : like a random mixture of "O" and "0" (oh and zero) or "M" and "N"
