Re: NAME YOUR BEST VANITY PLATES
I realized I have never posted a pic of my GTA with the plate. Both my Babies here. 89' GTA with my 17' Focus RS.
And a pic I took using the SPL Meter app on my iPhone. Yeah, 91db @ idle sounds just about right.

Re: NAME YOUR BEST VANITY PLATES
Here are some. They're universal and can be used by any 3rdgenner or other classic car owners. Just substitute your own model year for the last two numbers. Great for "classic" plates and other specialty plates where only 5 digits are allowed, or in states that don't allow the straight model year, like Nevada. For me: 9TN87, 19AT7.
For all 3rdgens, 5 digits: 9TN82, 9TN83, 9TN84, 9TN85, 9TN86, 9TN87, 9TN88, 9TN89, 9TN90, 9TN91, 9TN92.
For 80s only, 5 digits 19AT2, 19AT3, 19AT4, 19AT5, 19AT6, 19AT7, 19AT8, 19AT9.
For 80s only, 6 digits, a combination of the above two sequences: 9TNAT2, 9TNAT3, 9TNAT4, 9TNAT5, 9TNAT6, 9TNAT7, 9TNAT8, 9TNAT9.

Taken off my '72 TA, but kept because I can't throw anything away.
Now on our autocross car, so we could represent Texas at Nationals. It's also the right year for the car!!

This one was on my GTO, it'll probably get moved to my current third gen build.

This was the custom plate I had on the car back in high school, just got it back a few weeks ago when it became available again.

Dont know if this counts but good for a chuckle. Wasn't a thirdgen but saw it on the news because their dmv said it was offensive...kinda neat as it didn't mean a whole lot until you read it upside down...370H55V.
Edit: Oh that's weird I just saw it on some news feed but when I went searching for it, it was over a decade ago.
