Anyone got a black one with darker tints?
In exchange for writing a paper for her, my girlfriend is going to get me tints for my car.. Sweet deal!
Anyway I have a black irocz z28 and i originally wanted like 20% on the windows and 5% on the hatch glass..
wondering what you guys have on your black cars? I am only questioning this because my friend claims that if you go too dark on black cars it looks silly...
What do you guys think?

I have 2-tone paint black on top with limo tint. Check out my picture's on profile. I love it, but i live in Arizona and its really hot and super bright here.

No - Satin is in between gloss and matte - more towards a matte finish. I had tint on my black 82 TA - and it looked great. Cops will break your ***** though.

Not sure of the percentage. I had that done 20+ years ago. The tint I had on before that was limo tint. Tint is gone now.

When I first bought my car.
I think that's 5% on the sides and rear. It looked good but it felt like driving with blinders on so I pulled it off of the side windows. The stuff actually came off in two layers.

Check your state laws first, but if you dont care 20% is hard to tell, 15%-5% is asking to get harrased. We did my friends car double 5%blac all around & 15% smoked on his windsheild. Talk about ice cold ac.....looked awsome though. im gonna do mines 20% black all the way around. It all depends on what type of tint you use also.

I bought my car with the windows already tinted, but I believe they are either 15% or 20%
