help me protect my dash from UV rays!
not long ago i found a mint dashboard at a yard for 10 bucks.
I need to keep it mint, and i need some suggestions on what products to use to coat it and protect it from the texas sun.
Ive heard some bad things about armorall and even meguiars so im not looking to use those products again.
what do u guys use?

Windshield sun shades a MUST whenever you park.
I have read some ppl are using baby oil. Never tried it myself.
We did use VooDoo Mojo for a couple years & liked it, but since then we use a damp rag to wipe the dust.
Lexol is something I've heard of but again never used
Pledge has been mentioned a few times also.
I believe the damp rag is NOT enough by itself to keep it looking good for long, since there has to be some kind of oil // emollients to keep it from drying out & cracking.
Baby oil, Pledge......hmmmm

u know ive heard of pledge being popular for engine bay cleaning. Supposed to have an anti dust agent that helps keep shine on rad hoses valve covers etc
never heard of the rest that u mentioned, id really like to find something i can put on an trust it to not damage the dash over time. Guess ill do sun shades if i have to but really dont want to!
i hate the hassle of putting them on and off.
