Yet another Headlights Xversion Thread
Sorry guys, having some trouble finding exactly what I'm looking for...
Having fallen in love with projectors recently (the light pattern on the road, not the appearance) I've been doing some research into some of the headlight conversions some of the members here have done.
I'm looking specifically for a projection headlight (preferably HID but doesn't have to be) that fits where the lenses are SQUARE. I absolutely detest the appearance of a circular 'eye' in the rectangular 'eye-socket' of a Third Gen Camaro.
If any of you know of a good square headlight that fits well in the eyesockets, I'd appreciate a heads up. Mounting doesn't have to fit, I expect I will have to do some modification. Ideally the particular conversion would have a guide somewhere to help me out
thanks

I'm looking into a conversion to H4 and H1 housings with the halogen bulbs for my 89. Not HID, but they have a very similar low beam cutoff. Quite pricey too at $75 per housing. I'll be dealing with Daniel Stern http://www.danielsternlighting.com/home.html If you navigate through the menu on the left, there is lots of great technical information. I corresponded with him last summer and now, after a couple of unforeseen expensive emergencies, have the funds to do my upgrade. He will not sell anything without some consult first, thus no shopping cart and order is by e-mail. He's recently gone through a move and not all parts of the site are back up.

Thanks! I'll definately throw him an email sometime later in the spring, when I start the actual work. It's pretty far down in my list of priotities, tbh, more of a finishing touch than a necessary step.
