What are THE BIGGEST possible wheels/tires???

I've been wondering, what are *THE* biggest possible wheels/tires you can put on a 3rd gen, specifically Camaro? I really don't want rubbing, but if it is minimal I can live with it. Anyone???

I think you can fit up to an 18" wheel on camaro's without rubbing. As for tires, I would'nt think any wider than a 255 width tire on the front, but definetly you can fit a 255 width tire on the rear. The 255 would be the first number on the tire, example 255/40/18 Hope this helps.

I heard of 335's on the back of their thirdgens before. Not sure about the front though, I think 275

From what I've been hearing the largest possible wheels are 18x9, can anyone confirm this?

like a wagon wheel, with stock suspension; new stock suspension you can fit 20's with paper thin tires but it looks like a#@ personally i wouldn't go larger than 17's the ride is bad enough going larger is almost too much rim.

but that's just my opinion.

Ive got 9x18"front and 10"x18"rear with 265/40/x18" all round.
I feel the fronts are a bit too wide, not because they rub or anything like that but because they tend to wander a bit on road imperfections and markings.
Im soon replacing the fronts with 245/45x18" and rears 275/40x18"
Ive also lowered the car with edelbrock springs.check out the pics

There is a 92 purple camaro on here owned by Sugar-Daddy that has a set of 20inch chrome irocs on it. They are freaking huge. I have a picture, but my photopoint server is down.

I think 275s should be fine on a 17 inch rim. a lot of people are running them on their 4th gen rims on thirdgen cars. Ionz28, isn't that what you have?

I am the owner of the Purple Iroc with the 20" chrome iroc rims (it actually an 86 with 92 ground effects), Alot of people think there ghetto but I think they are awesome, especially in person, There is plenty of clearance, but I do need the car lowered a bit, I plan on putting 18" gold irocs on my red 85.

heres is the "Sugar Daddys" picture link.
